We’re now hiring a Senior Product Designer to work on some exciting consumer experiences. You will be instrumental in defining and driving product vision, mentoring junior designers, and ensuring design excellence delivers measurable business impact.
Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Consulting
- Lead Discovery & Framing: Partner directly with clients to define the "what" and "why" of a product. Scope, frame, and articulate complex design challenges into clear, actionable project plans.
- Synthesize & Visualize: Conduct and synthesize primary user research, market analysis, and business objectives to generate visionary product concepts and compelling narratives.
Design Craft & Leadership
- End-to-End Ownership: Take full ownership of the design lifecycle, delivering exceptional work from early wireframes and rapid prototypes to polished UI/UX systems ready for engineering handoff.
- Design for Impact: Apply deep knowledge of consumer behavior, interaction design, and visual aesthetics to create intuitive, highly-engaging experiences that move key performance indicators (KPIs) like adoption, conversion, and retention.
- Systemic Thinking: Establish, maintain, and contribute to reusable design systems to ensure consistency, accessibility, and speed across large-scale client projects.
- Technical Collaboration: Act as the primary design liaison with engineering teams, providing clear specifications, validating feasibility, reviewing development output, and resolving implementation issues to ensure design intent is realised accurately.
Team & Studio Growth
- Mentorship: Act as a mentor and for project teams, providing constructive critique, guidance, and coaching to junior and mid-level designers.
- Elevate Practice: Help evolve the Studio's internal practices, tools, and processes. Actively contribute to our culture of design excellence and continuous learning.
- Thought Leadership: Contribute to content initiatives(breakdowns, articles, talks), and sharing project learnings with the team and for the broader design community.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing and shipping digital consumer products, with significant experience in a design agency, consulting studio, or fast-paced consumer tech environment.
- Exceptional Portfolio: A portfolio that showcases your design craft and demonstrates your ability to translate strategic insights into tangible, shipped products with measurable outcomes.
- Strategic Fluency: Proven ability to operate as a strategic partner to Product Managers and business stakeholders, possessing strong business acumen and a solid understanding of technology constraints.
- Mastery of Tools: Expert proficiency in Figma (or equivalent) for design and prototyping, with a strong understanding of how to work within and advance a design system.
- Communication & Presence: Superior verbal, written, and presentation skills. You can clearly articulate and defend your design rationale to a room of executives and inspire a team of developers.
- Bonus: Experience working with emerging AI-driven design technologies like V0.
