Role overview:‍

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our dynamic design team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing intuitive and engaging user experiences across our platform. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to bring our audio series to life, ensuring a seamless experience for our users. Your ability to think critically about user needs, coupled with your design expertise, will help drive Pocket FM's continued growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of user interfaces across mobile and web platforms, ensuring a cohesive and delightful user experience.
  • Translate complex problems into simple, elegant solutions that meet both user and business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and iterate on designs.
  • Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across all user touch points.
  • Mentor junior designers and contribute to the overall growth of the design team.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on consumer-facing digital products.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Experience with prototyping and user testing tools.
  • Ability to think strategically and consider the long-term impact of design decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A strong sense of ownership and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
