ownpath is a design and product company that partners with enterprises and startups to craft great products through its Studios vertical, and upskills designers through its Academy.
Over the past year, we've worked with enterprises such as Philips Innovation, Hero MotoCorp, PhonePe, and others on projects spanning design systems, design ops, and digital product experiences.
We’re growing our team and seeking a Social Media Manager to drive our visibility across platforms, craft a strong content strategy, and position ownpath as a leading destination for design talent as well as for clients.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end social media strategy and execution for key platforms — primarily LinkedIn and Instagram, plus X (Twitter) and others as relevant.
- Build top-of-funnel awareness and strengthen ownpath’s positioning in the design and product ecosystem.
- Plan out content calendars, create content (you will be provided support with creation of assets as needed), and publish content tailored to each platform (short-form, long-form repurposing, visual posts, reels, carousels, etc.).
- Collaborate with internal teams to surface stories, insights, and learning resources.
- Repurpose already existing marketing material, optimised for different platforms.
- Maintain a platform-specific content strategy (e.g., concise communication for Twitter, visual-first for Instagram).
- Track performance metrics, analyze engagement, and iterate on content based on insights.
- Manage social media tooling, scheduling, and workflows across platforms.
- Leverage AI tools and lightweight creative support to scale content efficiently.
- Maintain a high standard of clarity, craft, and brand voice across all public communication.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in content creation or managing social media for creative, design, tech, or content-led brands.
- Strong understanding of how content performs across LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and other social platforms.
- Proven ability to plan and execute social media calendars end-to-end.
- Ability to craft sharp, engaging copy and adapt tone for different platforms.
- Experience repurposing long-form content into short, high-impact formats to increase visibility and establish positioning.
- Comfortable collaborating with designers/other teams to produce marketing content.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple channels simultaneously.
- Basic design skills (Figma, Canva, or equivalent) to create or refine content assets.
Nice to have:
- Experience working in start ups.
- Experience leveraging AI to create content at scale.
- Experience working in or with design studios, creator-led brands, or education platforms.
- Familiarity with content analytics tools and social scheduling platforms.
- A deep interest in design, creativity, and the communities around them.
Benefits
- Access to tools, creative support, and resources to help you produce great work and advance in your career.
- A culture that values learning, autonomy, and craftsmanship.
- Competitive compensation aligned with industry standards.
- Flexible, remote-friendly work environment.
